​Why is it called ‘Analysis’ and not ‘interpretation’?

​

Being someone who used astrology to learn to accept and love the diversity that is possible in humankind, it is not going to be me who diminishes its value in understanding the human condition. But Human Design is NOT astrology, nor an updated or advanced version of it. 

​

The graphical representation is different, the language that is used is different, and more importantly, your own verifiable daily experience is the focus of the Analysis, and not any sort of predictive capacity based on planetary configurations. 

There are no symbols to be interpreted in Human Design; the Analysis is based on rather simple formulas that represent a logical absolute about the way human nature is structured. There's nothing that needs to be believed in whatever you are told during a Human Design Analysis, as undoubtedly nobody can know your personal experiences in daily life better than yourself. ​​​

 

The initial individual Analysis is obviously the most important, as it reveals how your way of making decisions can enhance rather than distort your life. In this Analysis you are presented with your ‘Strategy and Authority’, which are the two most practical keys that will consistently drive you towards the potential magic of your uniqueness, determining the ‘Tempo’ of your life and establishing Who else plays a transcendent Role in your personal development.

​Navigate your life with clear ‘Signposts’

The details of your individual design are meant to serve as ‘Signposts’ that guide your attention towards the conscious alignment of your Personality with its vehicle, the physical body. This will immediately translate into a more flowing predisposition that eliminates your own resistance and stops fuelling the resistances of others.

Through the continued application of your Strategy and Authority in your daily life experience, every other mechanical key integrates naturally, allowing you to experiment with your uniqueness at a holistic level, without getting lost in the details that do not really matter, which will only lead to a sense of feeling overwhelmed by the amount of new information.

Benefitting from knowing your design is not a matter of accumulating as much information as you can, which is a purely intellectual approach, but it is much more a matter of how you apply the understanding that you can derive from the two most obvious formulas revealed on the very surface of your design, Strategy and Inner Authority.

Born on the Cross of Consciousness with an Investigator/Martyr Profile, I am not designed to accept any sort of mental absolutes, especially if they require that I surrender to an ‘inner’ Authority that constantly challenges my rational thinking. Now, questioning or challenging one’s own rational thinking can be a mirror of one’s inner chaos, but it can also be a clear symptom of personal wisdom, as we all know how much the human mind loves to indulge itself in all sorts of vanities.

It's astonishing to have access to knowledge that allows one to discern when the rational mind is identifying with what fuels the many layers of our human vanity that can lead us into distortion, and when it becomes an instrument at our service that fuels our personal wisdom in how we interact with the diversity of forms that we all find in the world.

Human Design is a logical tool that allows us to understand the way in which our mind has been programmed, through early life conditionings, to think in certain homogenized ways. With this understanding in mind, we can know how to re-educate our own mind, by confronting it with the only thing the human mind cannot argue with, evidence.
